| My grandma used to work at this little diner back in the 1950s when it was Crook's Sweet Shoppe. A few years later, the back room was used as the temporary Wauconda Post Office where my grandpa worked through his mid- 20s. A loooong time after that, when I was 7 or 8, my best friend and I walked uptown on Saturday mornings for breakfast dates at Main Street Café. (We would stop by Wauconda Pharmacy to grab cigarettes for her mom on our way home😱 …a lot has changed since 1989!) Now, 25 years later my husband + I bring our family here for lunch🍔🍨 #tyfanilongmeyerphotography

It just wouldn’t be a Wednesday without some hot bridge action within your IG feed 🤣🤣. A solid intervals workout this morning, first of its kind in a while...working on some speed, just for a change of pace, ya know (see what I did there?).
